WebThe Witcher 3 is, without a doubt, the most overhyped game of the 2000s. I would go so far to say that cyberpunk was less overhyped because people actually realized it was bad. The plot is boring, the combat is boring, quests are a chore, and there's no variety. The one thing I'll give the game is the graphics/setting. WebCyberpunk is a beautiful world and an interesting story, but the gameplay just feels like a less-polished first person shooter. So full disclosure, I haven't finished the entire game.
